The mutual love for health & fitness brought this beautiful pair together.
Months later these two are engaged and planning a strong lifetime together!
Three boys definitely kept Mom+Dad [& me] busy!
So. Much. Energy. They made me work some + laugh a lot.
Was it 100% laughs and smiles from all three littles? Nope.
Did mom once think in her head “a cold beverage and silence sounds good right now”? Probably.
The day I shared the proofing gallery I got a message back saying how much they laughed.
As parents, we need to sit back and soak in the crazy love that surrounds us.
And reliving those moments captured with a positive reaction is exactly my goal for every session.
Here are some favorites from the K Family’s morning “beach mini” session!
I’m so thankful to have captured so many wonderful milestones for this family this year – xox

it needs nothing. [to me anyway]
the tiny amount of window light in baby Coen’s nursery combined with the gray walls photographed beautifully.
this is why i love shooting lifestyle portraits in the home.
it challenges my creativity every. single. time.
a connection so simple and so sweet.
Ford makes baby number three and boy number three.
much fun during today’s lifestyle newborn session in Katy, Texas.
stay tuned for more from this wonderful family . . .
time passes in a blink of an eye. one year ago I found myself inside a Houston, Tx birth center documenting the water-birth of this amazing little guy. it was a beautiful day that I will never forget.
This is one of my favorite lifestyle newborn sessions involving siblings. No props. Natural light. No cheese factor. I couldn’t help but giggle when mom+dad would tell their boys “don’t look at the camera” or “stop smiling” – hehe — they really appreciate the lifestyle approach and it was so much fun to sit back and capture this family interact with their new son/ little brother with my camera.
We began the session hanging out in Baby S’ beautiful modern nursery… mom outdid herself [their entire home was gorgeous – wish I that decorator knack]. I absolutely adore the moments captured while Baby S hung out in his crib. Of course we took a couple traditional “everyone look at the photographer” photos – & the family dog wanted to be included, too! These boys were not shy in-front of the camera – I also have lots of BTS shots of them making funny faces behind me while I photographed mom+dad 🙂
We then got a little silly taking some “brother shots” in the family room – words cannot describe how much TLC these boys have for their baby brother.
While mom made the boys snacks & we all took a mini break, I sat the oldest on their pretty hardwood floors while holding Baby S. I asked him to share a story with Sawyer and dad suggested he tell his little brother about their grandfather who was no longer with them. I was in complete awe watching him go on and on , telling his baby brother about their grandpa. Melt my heart. I needed video at this moment because the words being said were too priceless.
There’s plenty more favorites but we would be here half a day… I am so fortunate to have met the T Family + to have shared this day with them.
